Practice Services
Appointments
Face to face appointments with a Doctor or a Nurse can be booked online using SystmOnline or the NHS App. Alternatively you can call the practice on 01325 332022.
If you have a non-urgent problem or you don’t need to be seen face to face, you can submit an online consultation. A member of the team will review the consultation and deal with the problem appropriately.
Routine appointments can also be made up to 6 weeks in advance by booking an appointment online or calling the practice on 01325 332022.
Vaccines and Immunisations
Flu vaccinations - Please contact the reception staff in September for details of the vaccination dates and to make an appointment. If you are unable to attend the surgery, a home visit will be arranged. Flu vaccinations are recommended for patients over 65 or those suffering from a long term condition such as heart disease, chronic respiratory disease, renal disease, diabetes, chronic liver disease, or patients on disease-modifying drugs, carers, and residents of nursing and residential homes
Travel vaccinations - Please fill out our travel form (DOCX, 19KB), then hand it in at reception at least 4 weeks before travel. Please note there may be charges for certain immunisations and vaccinations which are not covered by the NHS.
Non-NHS Examinations
The doctors are happy to carry out medicals, eg insurance and driving licence, by appointment. Please ask at reception for the charges for these services.
NHS Healthchecks
If you are aged 40 to 74 years you will be offered for a health check to assess your risk of developing cardiovascular disease.
Well Person Clinics
This clinic is run by the practice nurse for discussion and assessment of health issues.
